Imaginaries

East Aurora, New York

Announcement    Imaginaries are creations of from classic stories, memories and images from our childhood. When I was a child I often escaped into the land of Alice, Fairies, Gnomes, and Hobbits. I want to recreate some of that magic in my jewelry and dolls. I use copper, brass and silver as well as found materials like clock parts in my work. My jewelry and dolls are fantastical assemblages that evoke memories in anyone who remembers not only the things they are recycled from, but the childhood memories that come floating to the surface when you encounter them. Illustrations are from fairy tales and well known books. Many pieces have vintage optical lens pendants. The lens magnifies the image and it looks great.
If you like what I do and would like me to create something for you, contact me and I can make up something special.

I recently have added some of my tin robot dolls to the site. I love collecting old tins! I have piles of them, so I decided to upcycle them so they could go to good homes. I was originally thinking Christmas ornaments- what a fun tree that would be! Enjoy taking a look.
